A court crew that builds for neighbors, not contractors.
Apex Pickle Works started in 2021, after a decade in commercial court construction that left us tired of the handoff culture. A homeowner would call looking for a backyard court and get passed to a sub, who would pass it to a day crew, who would show up with a commercial-scale plan for a 50-by-60 slab.
We do residential — end to end. One crew, one foreman, one warranty. We pour the base, we coat the surface, we chalk the lines, we mount the net. If something is wrong a year later, the same person you met at the first consult is the one who comes out to look at it.
Every court we build is finished in the colors the homeowner actually picked — not "we only have these four" — using professional pickleball surface pigments rated for desert sun and backyard traffic. We'd rather take three fewer jobs a year than rush one.
Four things we don't compromise on.
Residential specialty
Homeowners get residential thinking — drainage, trees, neighbors, HOAs. Not a shrunken commercial spec.
Same crew, start to finish
No subcontracting. The people you meet at the consult are the same ones who pour the base and chalk the lines.
Real colors, real pigments
Eight tournament-grade surface colors, not four contractor defaults. You pick. We match.
A warranty you can call
Three-year surface, five-year structural, lifetime workmanship. The number on the warranty is the foreman's cell.
